Tula rubber technical articles plant (Tulsky zavod RTI) is acknowledged to be among the large-scale enterprises- manufacturers of rubber technical articles.
The plant celebrated its sixtieth anniversary in May 2007. Its first production-ventilation pipes, rubber footwear and rubberized clothes were put out in 1947. Modern equipment and skilled personnel assisted with raising of quality and competitive capacity of production. Nowadays more than 10000 item names of articles are in production and the plant is an exclusive producer of several items.
The established company policy is to satisfy demands for rubber technical articles for defense industry, railway rolling stock, engineering industry and motor-car construction. So engineering procedure modernization and procurement of modern computerized equipment (rubber oil seal vulcanization molding machines, rubber injection molding presses, performers, etc.) are carried out.
Quality certificates for ventilation pipes, rubber technical articles for railway rolling stock, armored collars for shafts and rubber-metal elements of vibroinsulators were issued. The main laboratory was accredited and special rubber stock bay was certified. The certificate of management quality system (No 6300.312171/3Ë) was also issued. All these actions are beneficial for production of top-quality and competitive articles. In November 1995 the plant ranked among 5000 leading enterprises as “Leaders of Russian economy”.
The plant cooperates with most regions in Russia and abroad. The large-scale consumers are : JSC “Transmash”, JSC “Lipetzk metallurgical works “Svobodny Sokol”, Federal state unitary enterprise “Zavod imeni Sergo”, JSC “VNIIST”, JSC “Minsk heating equipment plant”, ”Autozapchast” plant, JSC “Livhydromash”, rent enterprise “Shahta imeni Zasjadko”, JSC “Zavod “Vodopribor”, JSC “Arnest”, JSC “Tverskoy excavator”, Federal state unitary enterprise - Industrial Corporation “Avangard” , Federal state unitary enterprise “Permsky zavod “Mashinostroitel”, diesel locomotive repair plant in Voronezh, JSC “Tiazhpromarmatura”,JSC –Industrial corporation “Iskra”, Ulianovsk motor-car factory and many others.
Labour collective of the plant sticks to traditions of Tula manufacturers and
the plant is an upcoming and profitable enterprise.
